Based in State College, Pennsylvania, Progress Development Group is a real estate development company focused on building affordable housing. Our founders have over 25 years of development experience in both residential and commercial real estate development. We identify affordable housing needs in Central Pennsylvania and develop convenient and safe housing in those areas. We pride ourselves on developing high-quality housing communities that are both financially and geographically accessible, focusing on locations in close proximity to employers, school, public transportation and all of life's basic needs. We strive to improve the quality of life for all resident families and communities, while promoting sustainable social responsibility. We believe progress begins at home.

In 2016, PDG merged with HFL Corporation, a State College-based developer founded in 1974. In 2019, HFL started its opportunity zone affiliate, PrimeCore, which also identifies workforce housing needs.
